A speedy response to the effects of the powerful earthquake was posible, as a result of co-operating with an organisation that has been undertaking projects in Pakistan, since 2001.
Locally purchased foods were provided: beans, dates, vegetable oil and wheat flour.
It is possible that longer term food production projects will be submitted to Vegfam in the future.
